Be Love

Be Love is the third leg of our mission statement.Outreach is at the core of UUMC 's ministy to express God's love in many ways to many people. Teams have gone to: Mexico, Haiti, Costa Rica, Native American reservations in California, Arizona and Nevada. For the past six teams have gone to help rebuild hurricane ravaged Mississippi.

We vigorously support Habitat For Humanity and Families Forward - click on sites to view the depth of service these organizations provide to people in need.

Each year members of UUMC spend a day at Orange County Fair manning the Heifer International Booth. For more information about Heifer International, see http://www.heifer.org/passingthegift .

Outreach Grants: Each year funds are raised and dispersed to support organizations such as: Camp Fire U.S.A, Operation School Bell and missionaries to Japan.

Be Love is manifested within UUMC through its Care Ministry, Prayer Chain and Quilting Ministry , a unique group of women who design and make prayer quilts and give them to individuals suffering with long term illness or those who are recovering from surgery. The Quilting group, a talented and giften group of women is always looking for more members.
